Average Tarpon catch in the rivers is 5 to 10 lbs.  In the Atlantic they run much larger.  The Florida Record for Tarpon is 243 lbs.

The Indian River Lagoon and the Canaveral Basin is Great Florida Fishing!!!!!!!


Slot size reds

Snappers come in many varieties.  The average catch is from 1/2 to 2 pounds

Sea Trout may be kept when they are over 15 and less than 20 in.

There is also good bass fishing in the area as evidenced by this nice specimen caught by Karl

Plan two days for fishing, and within one hour of each other, saltwater and freshwater fishing can be enjoyed!
