 TrikFish  When it comes to leader material nothing fills the bill like TrikFish Saltwater Leader or Fluorocarbon Leader. My favorite mono is the Saltwater Clear on a 50-yard wrist spool. For super clear water I like the Fluorocarbon, also on a wrist spool. For day-to-day fishing on the Banana and Indian Rivers I add an 18 to 20 inch TrikFish Leader with a double uni-knot to the mainline and a uni-knot to the hook or lure. Knots are easy to tie with TrikFish Leader and they don't slip. I use the 15 or 20 pound test normally. If you get into bigger reds you will need to beef it up. For snook I begin with a 40 pound leader for its abrasion resistance. Of course on bigger snook you also need bigger leader. Nearshore on the Atlantic I use 50, 60, 80, and 100 pound test TrikFish Leader Material. You need the variety of choices to match the fish you are targeting.
