Answers to many of the most commonly asked questions about our Ft. Pierce inshore fishing charters can be found below.

What time do we meet?​

Pickup times and location will vary.

Captain Mark will confirm the meetup time when your trip is booked and when you speak with him the day before your trip.

What happens if we have to cancel?

We understand that things happen!

So, in the event that you need to cancel your fishing charter with us, we only ask that you provide us with 24 hours notice of cancellation and will provide a full refund.

What if it rains or there's bad weather?

We fish rain or shine, however we want everyone to be safe.

In the event that your Captain chooses to call off your fishing charter due to poor weather or other conditions which might make your trip unsafe, we’ll do our best to reschedule your charter.

If for travel or other reasons you are unable to reschedule with us, we’ll provide a 100% refund for any amounts previously paid.

Where do we meet for our charter?​

Capt. Mark meets his Clients at a number of boat ramps in the Ft. Pierce area.

Prior to your charter with Inshore Fishing Adventures – Capt. Mark will speak with you about your meeting location, time and other details about your trip!

What can we expect to catch on our charter?​

We target the following species on our Fort Pierce fishing charters:

  • Snook
  • Redfish
  • Seatrout
  • Tarpon
  • Snappper
  • And more…
Can we keep the fish we catch?​

Yes, however keeping different fish species is may be seasonal – so ask your Captain which fish can be kept at the time of your charter.

Captain Mark will clean your fish for you and even recommend restaurants that will cook your fresh catch for you!

What payment methods do you accept?

Capt. Mark gladly accepts cash and major credit cards as methods of payment.

However, posted prices are cash based. Credit cards are welcome and will be accessed a processing fee.

Refunds may be subject to credit card processing fees.

What should we bring for our charter?

We want to make sure you’re comfortable and have a great experience with us, so please bring:

  • Weather appropriate attire
  • Drinks
  • Snacks
  • Non-spray sunscreen
  • Bug repellant
  • Camera and a small bag or pack to contain your personal effects.

There is not enough storage room for everyone to bring a backpack!

Are we allowed to tip the Captain?
Absolutely! Your Captain works extremely hard to provide their guests with the best fishing experiences possible.
 
Customarily, gratuities for a Captain and crew are 20%+ of the cost of your charter.
Do we need fishing licenses?​

Nope!

Captain Mark has all of the licenses and permits you’ll need for your fishing charter and are included for your trip.

Can we bring alcohol on a fishing charter?

Yes. We even supply an iced-down cooler to keep your drinks chilly!

We just ask that you drink responsibly and leave the glass containers at home.

What kind of boat will we be going out in?​

You will be fishing from either Capt. Mark’s Ranger Banshee Extreme or his Hydra-Sports 23′ Bay Boat depending on the type of charter you book as well as the number of people in your party.

His boats includes:

  • Livewell for keeping bait alive and fresh
  • Cooler for drinks and snacks
  • Ample space for his Clients and all the gear you’ll need!
How many people can go on a charter?​

The maximum number of guest on our charters is from 1-4 persons depending on the type of charter you book.

What if we would like to go longer?​

Of course!

If you’re on a charter with us and would like to extend your trip…we’ll be happy to accommodate as long as our booking calendar allows.

What should you NOT bring on a charter?

We strive to make every charter enjoyable but do ask that refrain from the following:

  • Do not bring: Illegal drugs, hard liquor (spirits) or spray sunscreen (it stains everything on the boat)!
  • Do not wear cowboy boots or any other hard soled boots or shoes!
  • Do not bring a large cooler. Storage space is limited and the boat has a cooler for your use!

 

Is LIVE bait included in the price of our charter?

The Captain is happy to purchase (when available) a reasonable amount of live shrimp at no additional cost to his clients. Clients wanting to ensure against running out of live shrimp may choose to contribute to the rising cost of live bait!

Live baitfish, such as mullet, croakers, pinfish, pigfish, pilchards, threadfin herring, sardines or others are not included in the basic charter fees. Clients targeting snook or tarpon are strongly encouraged to purchase live bait fish from our local professional bait suppliers. They usually meet us at or near the boat ramps.
